I woke up at 5am today to make it out in time for the first day of New England’s Brimfield Fair, the east coast’s largest semi-annual flea market.
Brimfield takes place about an hour outside of Boston and attracts everyone from teenagers looking to furnish an apartment on the cheap, to the world’s most reputable antique and vintage dealers with huge flatbed trucks bringing back enough merchandise to stock their stores for months.
J. Crew, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Polo all send out teams of designers to Brimfield to make acquisitions for their stores and offices.
The local kids’ll even help carry your purchases to the car for a fair price.
