And we’re back at the Brimfield show in Massachusetts. After my last post (click here to read it) people harassed me for the details so if you’re interested in checking it out, go to www.brimfieldshow.com to learn more.
Anyway. Another crack of dawn wakeup call and we headed down to the fields in search of some vintage awesomeness.
People literally get trampled when the open the gates to Dealers Choice, one of the fields that caters exclusively to the more high end and rare items for dealers and decorators.
Like this 100 year old human skull from a doctors office in Tennessee.
Even the porta potty bathrooms here are antique.
I collect old signs and advertising. Unfortunately I always come across tons of great stuff thats way out of my price range and when that happens I usually try to catch a picture to save for later. Here’s a few of my favorites.
See that orange SOLD sticker? Stellar purchase by the Polo Ralph Lauren design team.
Vintage Marlboro sign. Probably big enough to fill my entire apartment.
The Mishka homies would have loved this one.
I didn’t know how to photograph this one to portray the size correctly. Thats a 100+ foot long 48 star american flag from before Alaska and Hawaii were part of these United States. Kinda unpatriotic to have it lying on the ground like that though, right?
filed under window displays.
Someone on Twitter recently said that Americana nuts are the new sneaker heads. If thats true I hope these kinds of tees are the new ‘I’m a Nike Head’ shirts.
Never a lack of characters. What a hypebeast.
Buddha around the belly button? Epic.
Yard sculptures anyone?
