Today Anthony and I braved hundred degree temperatures and an hour long detour into Pennsylvania to shoot a collection of custom hot-rods built by the gentlemen over at Geils Automotive in Milford New Jersey.
Most of their outside work starts out like this– a client will usually bring in three beat up old cars and the Geils team will pool together all the working parts to turn these thousand pound piles of rust into 700 horsepower speed demons.
This one is from 1929.
Every one of these cars came with half a dozen stories. This one was complete with a tale about getting shot at while speeding down 11th avenue in Manhattan in the mid 70’s.
I don’t know anything about cars but this one can go from 0-170 mph in about 8 seconds.
This bad boy was my personal favorite. Complete with a full tank of NOS right in the trunk.
