This past weekend we had the opportunity to attend the annual Governors Ball music festival on Randalls Island. The festival takes place over three days. This year the artists participating included Kings Of Leon, Guns n’ Roses, NAS, Bloc Party, Kanye West, Beach House, Alt-J, Azealia Banks, and over 100 other artists.
Unfortunately it rained so badly on the first day that mosts of the acts couldn’t hit the stage. It also meant that the entire festival grounds turned into a brutal foot deep mud pit.
Most people wore rain boots and trekked through it. This guy took a different approach.
This is from Day 2. Steel Pulse was one of my favorite acts. Ya mon.
This mud was unforgiving.
This neon guy is the personification of my worst nightmare ever. This is him running away when I asked him to pose for a picture.
Alt-J is one of my favorite indie groups in 2013. They remind me of what Vampire Weekend was earlier on in their career.
Everywhere.
Her facial expression is how I feel every day of my life.

Stepped into the silent disco because we saw the homie Josh aka The Fat Jew. Do yourself a favor and follow @thefatjewish on instagram and twitter.
Jonny was DJ’ing too.
Awesome hat.
That’s Cindy Reason our Canada distributor. You met her at Magic in Las Vegas. HER LAST NAME IS REASON.
Also this guy was running around with an Arnold Schwarzenegger mask on.
